HOW TO MAKE HENNA PASTE?
(Our Secret Recipe)
Ingredients to make henna paste at home:
- 100 gm Lemporia's BAQ organic henna powder- Triple filtered
- 30 ml Essential Oils
- 30 gm refined sugar
- Mineral Water to consistency
Recipe:
- Mix your henna powder, sugar and essential oil in a stainless/ceramic/plastic bowl and keep adding water until the paste reaches consistency.
- Continue mixing the paste until it becomes smooth, creamy and lumps free using a spatula/electric mixer or spoon.
- Cover it with cling wrap and air tight, leave for 24 hrs so that the henna can dye release.
How to check if henna paste is ready?
- After 24 hrs let’s do a patch test.
- Place a thick dot/patch of henna on the heel of your hand and wait 5 minutes then wipe it away. If you have a nice orange stain, you have achieved dye release.
- Once dye release has been verified, you are ready to make henna cones.
